As you know (if you’re a friend of mine), I have got metal braces on my teeth since I was in Seconde. The treatment was going to reach its end when I entered Sciences Po but I missed two appointments and I stopped going to the orthodontist as he was far from my aunts’ house (where I used to live) and I had a lot of homework.

Now I am a nineteen-year old student with rails of her teeth and I’d like to get rid of these braces. I regret I didn’t try, cowardly, to catch up but the damage is done and the only thing I can do is waiting… or acting !

Bangkok may be the capital of shopping, but tourists also know it for… (no, don’t think about prostitution please !) its excellent medical services !

So I sent some e-mails to dental clinics to get informed about how much the removal of my braces costs.

Unfortunately, most ask for an authorization of my former orthodontist before practicing. But one of them told me it would cost about 50€.

I’m planning to have an appointment with a dentist who will tell me what I can do with my fucking teeth. Because I have to take the braces (and the glue sticked on my teeth) away but I also must remove wisdom teeth (about 150€ for all of them)… and then I have to wear a « Nightguard » (80-100€) in order to avoid starting again the heavy treatment…
